NOTTINGHAM LOCAL Your local, weekly pet shop delivery service, delivering every Friday in and around Nottingham!

Do you live in Nottingham and have pets? If so, you’re in the right place!

As a local, Nottingham Small Business, I offer a personal weekly pet shop delivery service to most Nottingham postcodes, covering areas from NG1 to NG12.

My Nottingham Local delivery service currently runs every Friday. Orders need to be submitted by 9am the day before (Thursday), and can be placed online, by phone, by text or by email. Alternatively, if you’re interested in setting up a discounted, scheduled order that is repeated as little or as often as you want, request a quote here!

Delivery Charges

My local delivery service is available from as little as NOTHING! Depending on your location, frequency of ordering (for regular customers) and size of your order, a small charge may be applicable.

HOW TO ORDER

1) Add your chosen items to your basket.

2) When you are ready to complete your order, view your Basket. Don’t forget to enter your Locals discount code to apply 5% discount to your order!

3) Checkout – This can be done two ways:

– Staying on the basket page, click Calculate Shipping and enter your postcode. This should bring up your available shipping options, including Click & Collect or Nottingham Delivery. Select Nottingham Delivery, before proceeding to PayPal Checkout or payment via Google Pay or Apple Pay.

– Click Proceed to Checkout – Enter your details for payment and delivery. Once your address information has been provided, shipping options will appear including Nottingham Delivery. Select this shipping option, select your payment option and confirm the purchase by clicking Place Order.

Once payment has been received, Order Confirmation will arrive by email. I will be in touch by email or text with further information regarding your delivery. If you have a preference for contact please include this in your order notes (Whatsapp, Text, Email). Please also confirm any safe locations or delivery requirements I may need to be aware of.

If you wish to pay Cash on delivery, please place your order via text (07712465372), email or telephone so the relevant arrangements can be made, and delivery scheduled as required.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY ORDER?

There are a number of payment options available through the website, featured below. As a local customer, you are also able to pay on delivery. This is currently a cash only option, as I do not have portable card payment services currently available, but I am working on this to make Tap to Pay available for card payments on delivery.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED?

Ensuring your order is placed by 12pm (midday) Wednesday, delivery will take place that Friday. I will contact you to confirm delivery once your order has been received. My local delivery service currently operates every Friday from 10am to 5pm, unless otherwise arranged.

If your order has been placed after midday on the Wednesday of your expected Friday delivery, this may not be delivered until the following Friday – however, I will always try to deliver this sooner where possible. Please get in touch by Whatsapp or Text if you require an order with urgency or have placed your order after the cut-off time but need the order before the following Friday – I will always try to make alternative arrangements with you if I can.

CAN YOU PROVIDE A TIME FOR DELIVERY?

Yes, delivery notifications are sent via Whatsapp (can be sent by email if preferred or if a mobile number has not been provided), providing an estimated delivery time or providing delivery notice 30-60 minutes before your delivery is due. Deliveries take place between 10am and 6pm every Friday depending on your location. 

If you require delivery at a certain time, I will always try my best to accommodate. Please add a note to your order and I will be in touch if there are any difficulties meeting this request.

NOBODY IS HOME DURING THE DAY. CAN YOU STILL DELIVER?

Absolutely. I have a number of customers that need their orders leaving safe as they won’t be home or can’t guarantee they will be home.  Simply add a note to your order at checkout or drop me a text with your order number and safe place once your order has been placed.

If you do not feel comfortable providing a Safe Place for delivery, please get in touch to see if I can make alternative delivery arrangements with you. I will always try my best to accommodate your needs. Alternatively, you may be interested in my Click & Collect service, collecting your order from my warehouse in West Bridgford (or Beeston if it is more convenient – please ask).

I CANNOT SEE NOTTINGHAM LOCAL AS A SHIPPING OPTION. CAN YOU HELP?

There are unfortunately certain areas of Nottingham I am unable to deliver to due to the distance. I try to cover as much of this as possible, and hope to increase my delivery days too so I can accommodate more pet owners, so if you are outside of my delivery area please get in touch to advise of your interest – there may be something I can arrange with you to meet your needs.

There is also the possibility that your postcode area has been accidentally missed from the qualifying postcodes for this service. If your address applies to one of the named towns or stated postcode areas but this option is not visible at checkout, please get in touch so I can verify this and resolve any issues that may have caused this.

CAN I COLLECT MY ORDER?

Yes, I offer a Click & Collect service Monday to Friday from my warehouse in West Bridgford. Simply select Click & Collect NG2 as your shipping option, for free collection from NG2 6HF. Arrangements can also be made to collect from Beeston NG9 – please get in touch if this is of interest.

As I am not always at the warehouse, there are no set times for collections. Once your order has been placed, I will be in touch to confirm when your order will be ready to collect and arrange a convenient collection date and time directly with you. I am at the warehouse every day at varying times, so I will always try to meet your collection requirements.
